Best places for food and drink along the Bristol Harbourside

Bristol’s Harbourside is full of amazing food and drink venues. It’s also the perfect place for alfresco dining, or grabbing a take away and enjoying your food with family and friends.

Janine, Social Media Manager at LOKI POKÉ shares her favourite places to eat along the Bristol Harbourside.

Wapping Wharf

CARGO, Wapping Wharf is home to independent restaurants and businesses, including us!

Grab a fresh, healthy and delicious takeaway from us at LOKI POKÉ whilst walking around Bristol and taking in the sites. We’ve got a salad bar where you can build your own bowl or choose one of our house bowls with meat, fish and vegan options available.

Also, don’t forget to stop by our friends' New Cut Coffee for a caffeine pick me up - and Wild Beer or Cider Box for a drink or two whilst you check out the independent shops at Wapping Wharf.

Bristol Harbourside market

Bristol harbourside markets run every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Make sure to grab a delicious Filipino feast from Aurora Kusina. I especially love their Fili Cheese Steak lumpia / spring rolls, their chicken adobo and their ube cheesecake. Also, check out our friend Simon from Dawson’s for a Jerk Chicken pasty and Palletas for refreshing ice lollies made from whole fruits.

Floating food and drink

Bristol is home to lots of charming Bristol restaurant boats, where you can enjoy a fancy meal or grab a drink with your pals.

FiSH Bristol

I love FiSH Bristol, which serves a range of dishes from mussels, black squid ink risotto to fish and chips. Enjoy your meal on a boat, watching the yachters and hen do party boats go past on the water by Castle Park.

Under the Stars

I also love Under The Stars, a tapas and cocktail bar right opposite the Watershed. My favourite dish is the Spider Crab & Saffron Croquettes, with smoked aioli and lemon

Grain Barge

Grain Barge is a bar and restaurant serving locally sourced ingredients and independent craft beers, ciders, wines and coffees. They also have a fun schedule of music events from artists as well as open mic nights which you can check out here.

Please tag us on Instagram to let Janine from LOKI POKÉ know if you plan on going or have eaten at any of these venues after reading this article.
